New layout for my web site. This time decided to do everything from scratch. From the layout, to it's code arrangement till the database's tables.

The concept was based on simplifying the experience of the user with the whole site. So the main page is the portfolio index (as it was already). Then the user can choose between the remaining areas (so far there are 2 more expected + the link for resume download in pdf). This menu is still to be re-thought.

Any constructive critiques are most welcome wheter it's something good or bad that you may want to point out.

I still don't get it. Yes, our pages are our toys. But none of us mentioned anything about it previously.

I really like the new layout, Tiago. I visited the old one and I like this better. This front page shows off more of your work, has more color, and seems friendlier to the user. Now I have to go visit the actual page and see if it navigates easier!

This is inspiring to keep it basic, I get so frustrated with web design.

I indeed tried to keep it simple but I still have some doubts about the details and how they are suppose to transmit some of what I believe that I should transmit with my web design projects..... I know it sounds complicated but I believe in something a bit more glamourous and kinda "male". Something sharper and a bit more agressive in details since the layout is so simple... =/ It was kinda frustrating after finishing it (since this was all I projected and designed in the first place) but I think I'll redesign it soon once I have the time. I had online for a few weeks now but today I decided to offline it since there were some serious problems with some details that I thought I should allow...

Maybe your design is too appealing to the "female"! No I tease, your original website design was more aggressive and "male" in a way, it was a glamourous look, but too difficult to read and navigate! Oh to find the happy medium.

I've re-designed my websites more times than you and never come up with anything half as good...do you have training in graphic design/or web design? I was a fine arts major who should now concentrate more on her slovenly design skills.

My training on web and graphic was purely self taught till a couple of years but I'm now gainig more experience at design school.
